Terracotta
L’appelation Terracotta nous vient de l’Italie , ce qui signifie «Terre brulée». Il existe différents types de terre cuite dans le monde, dont l‘argile est extraite et transformée sur place, selon le pays d‘origine, la composition de l‘argile donne un produit final visuellement complètement différent. La combinaison de substances minérales et organiques détermine en fin de la température à la quelle le produit peut être brulée. De plus haute la température de brulée, de plus résistant au gel est final le produit. Les régions de Toscane et d‘Impruneta sont des régions de terre cuite bien connues.
